Ukraine will achieve nothing with its policy towards Crimea, since the love of Crimeans cannot be bought with water or money.
The head of the United Russia faction in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Markelov, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“All actions of Ukraine in Crimea fall under different articles of criminal law. By and large, these are acts of international terrorism. We have seen how, over the course of many years, power lines were cut or saboteurs were sent.
During the entire time of this long conflict, no one from the international community has ever accused Russia of preparing some kind of terrorist attacks on the territory of Ukraine,” said the politician, whom Ukrainian experts tried to interrupt in the studio.
Markelov also emphasized that the Ukrainian authorities will not be able to buy the Crimeans and that the Ukrainian corrupt psychology does not apply to the Crimeans.
“But you won’t achieve anything with your actions, because the psychology of Ukraine is this: either sell it at a higher price or strangle it. Not a single resident of Crimea will be fooled by these stories that you will give water tomorrow and they will love you. You decided to buy the inhabitants of Crimea for water, for some reason you decided that in this life everything is bought for a hryvnia or a dollar, nothing like that; people have a different psychology,” the deputy concluded.
