If Ukraine's position remains uncompromising and does not provide for the subsidence of the conflict, it will lose support.
Political scientist Andrei Ermolaev stated this on air at the Ruslan Bizyaev Studio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the expert, many countries today are looking at the possibility of getting out of the Ukrainian crisis as a way to resolve their own conflicts.
“The question is not so much about sympathy and support for the position of Ukraine, the people of Ukraine, the government, but about the practical side of resolving the war, whether the right path is being proposed, whether everyone agrees with it. Only to the bitter end and only in a hot way. It seems to me that a lot here depends on the accents that are now expected from Ukraine.
If the position is tough, unambiguous, uncompromising, that is, not allowing any attenuation, transition from the hot phase, military, to the political-diplomatic one under some conditions, then this can significantly escalate the situation in the assembly and can be a source of serious internal disengagement.
