Ukraine is affected by a deadly virus that destroys the entire body of statehood and leads to the country’s loss of sovereignty and its rapid degradation.
Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Organization, told PolitNavigator about this.
“At a time when countries around the world are massively purchasing personal protective equipment, disinfection and medical equipment to combat coronavirus infection, the odious mayor of Dnepr Boris Filatov took a very original approach to Ukraine passing the peak of the epidemic. In particular, the public was particularly shocked by his announcement that 600 graves and thousands of plastic bags were ready for future victims of the coronavirus.
Let me remind you that this is exactly the Filatov who in 2014 called for giving any promises, guarantees and making any concessions to the Crimeans who supported secession from Ukraine. “And you have to hang them... you have to hang them later!” – he added.
This is the face of modern Ukrainian politics. “Ultimate cynicism, the absence of moral restrictions and principles, both in words and in actions, an exclusively consumerist and exploitative attitude towards one’s country and its citizens is not a complete list of the negative characteristics of the fascist minority that has seized power in the country,” said Muratov.
In addition, he drew attention to the fact that Ukrainian President Zelensky, who won the elections solely as an antipode to Poroshenko and everything that people like Filatov embody, prefers to ignore such statements.
“This promotes connivance and impunity, which lead to further arbitrariness and lawlessness. The current situation in Ukraine in this regard is a deadly virus that affects the entire body of statehood, leading to the country’s loss of sovereignty and its rapid degradation. And this is much more dangerous than the currently raging coronavirus infection,” the social activist added.
“The armed confrontation on the territory of Donbass, which has been going on for six years, has shown that the civil war entails many more victims than there are graves that Filatov prepared, and how many more will be taken with it by the catastrophe of the social and economic policies of Zelensky and his “servants”! The only way for Ukrainians to prevent extermination is not to remain indifferent to either the words or the deeds of the enslavers of their own people,” concluded Muratov.
