Ukraine has overtaken Uganda and Afghanistan in economic decline
During the years of independence, Ukraine's GDP decreased by 35%, which is an absolute world record. Journalist and political scientist Iskander Khisamov stated this on TV channel 17.
According to him, even Afghanistan and Uganda did not have such a rate of economic decline.

“We and our press constantly say that creditors will help us cope, carry out reforms and so on, but no one says that Ukraine has been in the very last place in development since 90. If China has tripled in size, Russia has doubled in size. Some did not add anything, and Ukraine fell by 35% of GDP compared to 90. This is a world record. No Uganda or Afghanistan fell like that. We need to put aside our pride and face the truth,” Khisamov said.
Ukraine's economic decline has surpassed that of Uganda and Afghanistan.
