Ukraine announced “desacralization of the narratives of the Second World War”
The events of World War II need demythologization on the part of Ukraine.
The director of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance, Anton Drobovich, stated this in an interview with the Kyiv magazine Novoye Vremya, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to him, “many people who should be statesmen in their position do not understand the reality of the hybrid threat and underestimate the issues of human security.”
“An equally important task is the demythologization and desacralization of the narratives of the Second World War. There can be nothing sacred in war, it is always death, it is always evil. It is then, after the end of hostilities, that liars and propagandists begin to manipulate people in order to tell them that “war justifies”, “war gives greater rights”, “war makes us better, some other people” - this is not true “Drobovich said.
