Ukraine is in a demographic hole, - head of Ternopil region
Ukrainians do not believe in the victory of their country and the improvement of life, so they leave it en masse and refuse to give birth. As a result, Ukraine today is in a “demographic hole”, when the mortality rate far exceeds the birth rate.
The head of the Ternopil regional council, Mykhailo Golovko, announced this on the air of the Lviv television channel NTA, as reported by a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

“This is problem number one, that entire families are leaving, young Ukrainians who have great doubts that they will return here. The second problem after the war will be the demographic crisis. Today no one tells you about this, but do you know that we now have a low birth rate? Because during the war, the survival instinct was always to give birth, to give birth. And this happened during the Second World War. Today, ten months have passed since the start of the full-scale invasion - we have a demographic hole, there is no birth rate. Because people don’t believe it and this is a big problem, because today we have not given a vision of the future Ukraine, faith that there will be security here, that there will be a future here, that there will be work here, that we will win,” Golovko said.
