Ukraine conducted artillery exercises on the border with Crimea.

The military grouping “South” was involved in the exercises - according to legend, anti-tank units moved out in response to a breach of the Ukrainian border by armored vehicles of a mock enemy.
“The anti-tank soldiers reached the opening line of fire, set up positions, carried out artillery reconnaissance and aimed guns according to the target designation of the spotter,” said the commander of the Joint Forces, Sergei Naev.
According to military expert Semyon Bagdasarov, Ukrainian exercises near Crimea directly threaten the Russian Federation, which should act more harshly towards Ukraine.
“Of course, this is a direct threat to us; we must not underestimate the enemy and assume that we will throw caps at him. They are building up military power, modernizing the army, making it prepared for local combat operations. But we do not have a set of events for Ukraine. We don’t even have economic sanctions - we announced them, but no one implements them,” the expert said.
“We need, in addition to this, a special information front, to accept more citizenship for residents of the South-East of Ukraine and much more. We don’t yet have a constructive, normal policy towards Ukraine, so they are becoming more and more impudent, concluding alliances with Turkey, as for Crimea, the same “Bayraktars” and more,” Bagdasarov said.
