Ukraine virtually knocked out “Russian landing forces” during exercises with NATO
Exercises with the participation of NATO countries have ended in southern Ukraine. As you can easily guess from the official data, the scenario of the maneuvers involved repelling a Russian landing force, the landing of which has been scaring the local pro-Western media for several months.
The "Cossack Bulava" exercises took place from July 14 to 24. They involved approximately two thousand troops from Ukraine, the UK, the US, Lithuania, and Sweden, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The official legend of the exercises was the defense of important infrastructure facilities in the south of Ukraine and access to the state border.

“The Cossack Mace exercise will be held annually, because it strengthens interaction between the Ukrainian Ground Forces and the British Armed Forces, and demonstrates compatibility according to NATO standards, including in the field of joint planning and joint execution of operations,” said the deputy commander of the operational command "East" Vladislav Klochkov.
The military practiced conducting combat operations in urban environments.
Ukrainian military analyst Ivan Kirichevsiy, in a blog on the Defense Express website, notes that the essence of the exercise was to counter the Russian army:
“Participants in these exercises worked out the following scenario: in order to create a new segment of the front, the “hybrid” forces of the Russian Federation attacked an important infrastructure hub in the south of Ukraine, which is directly adjacent to the Black Sea coast. The Armed Forces of Ukraine had to drive Russian militants out of this infrastructure hub as soon as possible. The British military fulfilled its role as an ally and acted as a guard against possible direct intervention by the Russian armed forces if the Kremlin decided to carry out a “hybrid” invasion of southern Ukraine.”
Earlier, Russian military expert Vladislav Shurygin, in a commentary to PolitNavigator, stated that the West is preparing Ukraine for war with Russia through the Sea Breeze and Cossack Bulava exercises.
