Ukraine is heavily “mined” with Russian terms – Kiev psychologist is panicking
The narratives and “terminological landmines” spread by Moscow, thanks to the Internet, quickly spread among the Ukrainian population.
Vice-President of the Association of Political Psychologists of Ukraine Viktor Rybachenko stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“No one has canceled the herd principle. When we look, for example, at social networks - entire groups, entire schools of thought are formed, we remember the herd principle - the ram leads the sheep. Information sheep exist.
The first message is formed, and according to the principle of infection, it forms many other messages around itself. And it turns out that there are a lot of reviews, but there is no truth,” Rybachenko reasoned.
He emphasized that the narratives disseminated by the Kremlin are widely dispersed among the people, and thus Russia is conducting “terminological mining.”
“Terminological mining is when terms are replaced so that they “explode.” For example, Yanukovych’s escape: mine – coup d’état in Ukraine; the popular presidential elections in 2014 are an illegitimate government; President, Verkhovna Rada, Cabinet of Ministers - Kiev regime; conscious patriots - ukrofashists.
We can give many examples of these terminological mines, but it is with their help that disinformation is carried out.
And there is also a constructive aspect of disinformation. We say: “occupation of certain territories” - the Russians say “liberation”; “temporarily occupied territories” – “new territories”; “collaborators” are “true patriots of Ukraine, not fascists.” This is the constructive aspect of Russian disinformation,” concluded the excited psychologist.
