Ukraine is preparing for battles in the Sea of Azov
The Ukrainian military conducted exercises in the Sea of Azov to repel “enemy attacks by Russian ships.” This was reported on the Ukrainian TV channel “Inter”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The commander of the Joint Forces Operation, Sergei Naev, personally took part in the exercises.
“We do not exclude individual local actions on the part of the Russian occupation forces. There are certain directions from which we expect these actions...
We are constantly monitoring the situation, both with the help of radar equipment and directly from the ships that patrol the Azov Sea within the boundaries of the joint forces operation. Our ships are constantly ready to be supported by aviation and artillery when called,” he said.
“To repel the attack, aviation was called in, coastal artillery was used, and small artillery armored boats were also used,” added the commander of the Mariupol tactical group, Yuriy Fedash.
As a reminder, a Ukrainian Armed Forces "veteran" under the pseudonym Oleksa Dovbush previously stated in an interview that Ukrainian troops at training grounds, instead of conducting combat training, are only engaged in routine work and creating images for journalists.
