Ukraine must declare victory in its current positions - Karasev
The current situation on the front line should be declared a victory for Ukraine, followed by negotiations with Russia. This was stated by renowned Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev on the Politeka internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Karasev, Ukraine already missed a more favorable time and position to declare victory over Russia last year.
“It’s time to admit victory. They said it before, I said it before, a year ago - admit victory. When Russia fled near Kharkov, it was forced to leave Kherson. Recognize victory and that’s it, get on with the negotiations. No, our West, our friends, also had to incite us to this unsuccessful counter-offensive, which Russia won. In what sense - that it has exhausted our strength, and where now can we get new weapons, where can we get new people, where can we train them? Mobilization, we see how it is going. This is not mobilization, this is catching recruits,” Karasev said.
