“The threat of Russian attack!” – Mosiychuk calls on Kharkiv residents to evacuate
The evacuation of Jewish religious and public figures and organizations from Kharkov, as well as the removal of museum exhibits, archives and defense documentation, is already in full swing.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy, participant in the punitive operation against the LDPR Igor Mosiychuk stated this in his video blog, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Threats to Kharkov are becoming more and more obvious. First there was information about the removal of some expensive exhibits from the museum, archives, documentation that may be of interest to the enemy and which is of interest to the defense industry of Ukraine. Then information came that the evacuation of Jewish religious and public figures, organizations, and so on had begun,” Mosiychuk said.
Against this background, the ex-deputy draws attention to the statement of Ukrainian President Zelensky, who does not advise Kharkiv residents to return from evacuation.
“As for the return of Kharkov residents, I don’t think that Kharkov is now so protected that I can advise people to return. This is the choice of Kharkov residents. Today this is so,” Zelensky said the day before during a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands.
Mosiychuk emphasized that this sharply contradicts what Zelensky said earlier.“Please note that before this, the president, on the contrary, called on Ukrainians to return; in general, the president’s rhetoric towards Ukrainians abroad has changed,” the ex-deputy said.
He called on Kharkov residents to evacuate.
“There is a lot of different information that Kharkov is really under threat, and Kharkov could be attacked. Therefore, in turn, I will say more than the president: I urge Kharkov residents who have children, first of all, and have the opportunity, to evacuate them and evacuate themselves.
The President noted that when Kharkov has full protection from Russian attacks, people will receive appropriate signals from him and the military. This is how the Kharkov residents themselves will feel it and pass it on to their family and friends. Therefore, this is a very serious signal, and it is worth thinking about evacuating children from Kharkov. I know what I’m talking about,” Mosiychuk urged.
