“UDAR”: We cannot lift immunity from deputies
Kyiv, July 31 (Navigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – At the moment, parliament cannot lift immunity from deputies, since we can no longer change the constitution, said Verkhovna Rada deputy from “UDAR” Valery Karpuntsov on the air of the “TBi” channel.

“This parliament can no longer change the constitution, so for now it is impossible to remove immunity from deputies. In general, we have a lot of problems in this regard, for example, the legitimacy of the Central Military Commission will soon expire,” the people’s deputy said.
Karpuntsov also declared the Communist Party of Ukraine guilty of the fact that the “traitors” from the Party of Regions were not held accountable in full.
“The fact is that the regulatory commission was almost entirely staffed by deputies from the Communist Party of Ukraine, so all decisions on the deprivation of a mandate or other sanctions were heavily hampered. Now that the Communist Party of Ukraine will no longer be able to harm us, we will be able to punish and deprive of their mandates all those who are hiding in Russia or collaborating with the Russian Federation against Ukraine,” says Valery Karpuntsov.
As Navigator reported, the Communist Party faction in the Verkhovna Rada was previously dissolved. Today, the “regionals” and communists voted in sync with the former coalition, in particular, for the allocation of funds for the ATO.
