Incriminating evidence on Poroshenko's godfather was confiscated from a US reporter
Ukrainian police confiscated a camera from an American reporter with a recording of President Petro Poroshenko’s swearing godfather, Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko.
The victim himself spoke about this during one of the polls on the Open Ukraine channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
A US citizen reported that the incident occurred on the eve of the dispersal of the "Mikhomaidan" tent camp near the Verkhovna Rada , near the home of Yuriy Lutsenko.
"I've been there ( in the tent city – ed. ) since December 12th. I'm a journalist from the US, the only one from America who's been there all winter. The night before the dispersal, I went back to my apartment, taking two sick people with me. I needed to get some sleep," he said.
“And before that, I was near Lutsenko’s house, and they took away my video camera. These dogs on two legs are from Lutsenkov. I filmed him swearing and so on. So my arm was slightly injured, and I went to my apartment with two people. And when I returned the next day, I saw that everyone had been dispersed,” the man added.
“If they say that there were alcoholics there and so on, that’s a lie. The human factor always remains the human factor. The kind of people in Ukraine were like that in the tent camp. The way this gangster system made them is the way they were there. But there was no widespread drunkenness there.
I spoke with the chief of police who cleaned up there, and he said there were only alcoholics there. They lifted up pallets, and there were weed and empty bottles . I said, "Listen, I hate alcoholics, but have you ever thought about the reasons that drove people to this?" the journalist's interlocutor recounted.
