Poroshenko said they plan to leave Crimea without scientists
In Ukraine, they intend to “wash out” scientific personnel from Crimea in order to leave the peninsula without quality education.
This was stated on air by the fake "representative of the Ukrainian president in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea" Boris Babin on the radio station "Crimea. Realities," reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator . "
According to the official, today Ukrainian universities are luring away Crimean students and teachers, including associate professors and professors.

"It is very important. In fact, the washing out, let's be blunt, from Crimea of the intellectual base - scientists, teachers - is a very important means of de-occupation, which can be even stronger than any military influence or shutdown of an enterprise. Because people decide everything, and we must make sure that they feel comfortable both in the controlled territory and in the common European educational space,” Babin said.
He also complained that branches of the largest Russian universities are successfully operating in Crimea, while having existing agreements with Ukrainian and world educational institutions.
“And then the question is: how do we react to this? The answer is no. We have formed a base in this area and sent it to the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Why to the Ministry of Education? But because these same universities at the same time have agreements with our universities in the controlled territory. For example, we have the Novorossiysk Maritime Academy, which has an illegal branch in Crimea. And at the same time a cooperation agreement with the Odessa Maritime Academy. And at the Odessa Maritime Academy there is the Institute of the Ukrainian Naval Forces. This is just some kind of fairy tale,” the head of the fake representative office is indignant.
The official proposes to introduce sanctions against Russian science and break agreements between Russian universities and their “international partners.”
“We informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that our partners should not include these educational institutions in the sanctions lists. Maybe we should at least reconsider inter-university exchange programs? Cooperation between Moscow State University and Harvard, between the Higher School of Economics and some French university? We must achieve this,” Babin demanded.
Earlier, Vladimir Kazarin, a Crimean professor who defected to Kyiv and headed a clone of the Taurida National University in Ukraine, claimed that 50 teachers and students allegedly left the peninsula after its reunification with Russia.
He also complained that immediately after Crimea's reunification with Russia, the teaching of Ukrainian language and history was abolished at Taurida National University due to its perceived lack of need, and foreign teachers who had arrived there during the Ukrainian era were sent back to their home in Turkey.
