Muzhenko complains about a thousand cyber attacks
During this year, more than a thousand cyber attacks were carried out on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The head of the Signal Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - the Main Directorate of Communications and Information Systems of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vladimir Rapko, spoke about this, the press service of the General Staff reports.
“I think there were more than a thousand. But the Main Communications Directorate is responsible not only for the website of the Ministry of Defense. The site is an interface, a command post in part. And we are responsible for it. But this is a website. The main thing is that these DDoS attacks do not stop the operation of our network. This is our main task,” Rapko emphasized, answering the question of how many DDoS attacks there have been on the website and resources of the Ministry of Defense over the past year.
The department also claims that since the beginning of the introduction of martial law, the number of DDoS attacks and the spread of malicious software by resources of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has quadrupled.
