This was reported by the press service of the supervisory agency.
During the prosecutor's inspection, it was established that in June 2014, officials of the government of Sevastopol attracted representatives of the company PSK Universalstroy LLC to dismantle the municipal educational institution, violating the established procedure for performing contract work. In three buildings of the orphanage building, the roof, external and internal finishing of the buildings, heating system and water supply were dismantled. At this point, all work at the site was stopped.
As a result, the premises of the orphanage were brought into a condition unsuitable for habitation, and the inmates of the institution were relocated to conditions that did not meet sanitary and hygienic standards. The orphanage suffered damage amounting to almost 3 million rubles.
Based on the materials of the inspection, the investigative authorities initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (commission by an official of actions that clearly go beyond the scope of his powers and entail a significant violation of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens or organizations or legally protected interests of society or the state).
