Simferopol, August 16 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) - The Government of the Russian Federation decided to prepare a territorial planning scheme for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.

The resolution was developed by the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia in pursuance of instructions from the President and the Government.
“The signed resolution provides for the preparation of a territorial planning scheme for the Republic of Kazakhstan and Sevastopol in relation to federal transport (railway, air, sea, inland waterway, pipeline transport), federal roads, energy, higher education and healthcare (hereinafter referred to as the territorial planning scheme),” - the message says.
The Cabinet of Ministers is confident that the decisions made will ensure sustainable and comprehensive socio-economic development of the territories of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Sevastopol, and the placement of engineering, transport and social infrastructure facilities of federal importance in these regions.
In addition, the government expects that the preparation within one document of territorial planning schemes in various areas in relation to the territory of the Crimean Federal District will help improve interaction between interested federal executive authorities and will reduce the time and costs of this work.
