Klitschko wants to stop chlorinating drinking water in Kyiv

Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Petr Panteleev informed about this during a meeting of the KSCA Board on Wednesday, the press service of the KSCA reports.

“We have taken seriously the quality of drinking water in terms of disinfection. That is, we are switching to a new disinfection system, which is used today in Europe, in particular in Vienna, and this year we are carrying out the first stage at the station at the Dnieper water intake, next year - Desnyansky water intake, in 2019 we want to close the chlorine facility in city ​​of Kyiv,” said Panteleev.

He emphasized that chlorine farms are potentially dangerous, “so we must catch up with modern European cities in this direction,” added the deputy chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration.
