The nationalist Ukrainian party “Svoboda” opened a series of events dedicated to the next anniversary of the start of Euromaidan. Today in Kyiv there was a procession to the Office of Vladimir Zelensky, where he was once again warned about the inadmissibility of concessions to Russia. About 200 people, mostly elderly, took part in the event.

As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports , although the event was scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM, the march began almost an hour later – likely because the organizers were waiting for more participants to arrive.

The nationalists walked along the “traditional” route - from the stele on the Maidan to Bankovaya with stops at two memorials to those killed on Institutskaya, where the leaders of the procession laid flowers.

Apart from them, almost no one carried or laid flowers.

Nationalists have two main complaints against Zelensky – the Steinmeier formula in particular and the Minsk negotiations in general, as well as the sale of land. They took advantage of the anniversary of Euromaidan to remind about this and about their previous action on Pokrov and the corresponding resolution, which they handed over to Zelensky, but there was no reaction to which from the president.

“They declare such a connection with the Ukrainian public. We hoped there would be an answer. Even the law on citizens’ appeals states that a response must be given within a month. A month has passed - no word, no word,” stated Svoboda leader Oleg Tyagnibok.

This time, the nationalists decided not to limit themselves to repeating old themes and added one more: “all of Ukraine is with us.”

They collected decisions of local councils on the non-acceptance of the Steinmeier formula, on the impossibility of prolonging the law on the special status of Donbass and “stopping attempts to deprive Ukrainian land.”

According to Tyagnibok, the local councils whose decisions were collected represent almost half of the voters in Ukraine.

Tyagnibok did not specify whether they all spoke out simultaneously against the Shatinmeyer formula, the special status of Donbass and the land market. If you believe his words, the corresponding decisions were made not only in Western Ukraine, but also in Zaporozhye and Kherson.

The highlight of the program was a piano, which activists dragged to the entrance to the President’s Office and covered with pieces of paper with calls to “not play” with the land, war and Ukrainians.

Tyagnibok found symbolism in the fact that the piano turned out to be of the “Ukraine” brand and said that Zelensky should not play with Ukraine.

Everyone was waiting for someone to play the piano, as it was on the Maidan, but there was no one who could do it, although activists suggested doing it.

In general, the action came down to an insult to Vladimir Zelensky, who was hinted that his job was to play the piano (in the famous “95th Quarter” number, the current president did this with his genitals without hands), and not to lead the country.
