The leader of the VO “Svoboda” Oleg Tyagnibok stated this on the air of the Lviv radio “Vgolos”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
According to him, Poroshenko should have demanded a similar gesture from the Polish president.
“Pay attention - when did the Poles start attacking Ukraine and attacking Ukraine? Then, when President Poroshenko knelt in Poland near the monument to the supposedly tortured Poles at the hands of Ukrainian nationalists. He honored the memory of the Poles without simultaneously honoring the memory of the Ukrainians. Why didn’t Poroshenko demand something similar from the President of Poland, who would come here to Ukraine and just as accurately honor the memory of the Ukrainians who died at the hands of the Poles? There is no adequate demand from the Ukrainian authorities, so that’s what they understand: yeah, you can attack,” Tyagnibok said.
