Kyiv, February 17 (Navigator, Sergey Stepanov) – There is no need for the Maidan leaders to take down the black and red flags and abandon the chants of the UPA in order to win the sympathy of the South-East. Young people throughout Ukraine, even in Sevastopol, perceive Stepan Bandera normally. The Kremlin will be able to return the former Soviet republic back under its control only through a military invasion.

This is what one of the Euromaidan heroes thinks: Alexander Danylyuk. His organization “Common Cause” became famous for seizing administrative buildings in the center of Kyiv.

True, Danilyuk soon quarreled with his comrades on the Maidan - Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Vitaliy Klitschko and Oleg Tyagnibok agreed with Viktor Yanukovych to begin liberating the ministries. Danilyuk was against it, but the Svoboda members literally threw the social activist out of the Ministry of Agrarian and Industrial Complex building using weapons.

In the interview "To the Navigator" the revolutionary accused Tyagnibok of secretly working for the Kremlin and the Party of Regions. Danylyuk himself left Ukraine a few days ago and is hiding in the UK.

In a conversation with an agency correspondent, the revolutionary willingly discussed the Kyiv agenda, but as soon as the giveaway game ended and questions about respecting the interests of the South-East followed, communication began to wind down. It seems that radical nationalists are not ready to leave the warm bath of the Maidan and come to an agreement with those who are not their unconditional sympathizers.

"Navigator": How do you assess the progress of the revolution? Maidan supporters have been in Kyiv for almost three months, and Viktor Yanukovych has not made a single serious concession.

Alexander Danilyuk: I am sure that if it were not for the opposition brake, which deliberately stops any effective initiatives, the Yanukovych regime would have been collapsed before the new year. The protesters have enough strength for this.

“Navigator”: What hope is there now, when the three leaders go to negotiations with the authorities, and then once a week on Sundays they warm up the Maidan with the promise of a new strike?

Alexander Danilyuk: We propose the consolidation of protests around the strategy of blocking the work of central government bodies.

“Navigator”: But even at the very height of the revolution, the people (in the numbers expected) did not respond to Yuriy Lutsenko’s call to blockade the government quarter. Neither students nor drivers. Why should this happen now?

Alexander Danilyuk: Everything worked out fine for us. If only the opposition would not interfere with us. At her request, we released the Ministry of Justice. Activists were driven out of the Ministry of Agro-Industrial Complex with grenades and injuries - 6 wounded with bullet wounds. This is not a matter of weak appeals. And in the treacherous opposition, which plays along with the regime. Where are the promised changes? One lie.

Navigator: Do you accuse only the parliamentary opposition of betrayal?

Alexander Danilyuk: Who else is there? "Right Sector" only. I believe in its leader Dmitry Yarosh.

“Navigator”: There is also the above-mentioned Lutsenko - not in parliament, one of the most prominent speakers on the Maidan.

Alexander Danilyuk: Lutsenko, with all due respect, has no organizational structure. And as for oratory... “What will thousands of words be worth when strength of hand is important?”

Navigator: Right Sector leader Dmitry Yarosh said that we must prepare for the resumption of active actions in the government quarter. Your forecast – will the events at Grushevsky repeat?

Alexander Danilyuk: They can. But I don't see the point. If we abandon our nonviolent strategy, then we need to move on to armed resistance, because driving people with cocktails to machine guns is not very effective.

“Navigator”: Oleg Tyagnibok gathered 20 thousand people in Kyiv for torchlight processions in honor of Stepan Bandera, and during the revolution, on the contrary, he took the position of a peacemaker, criticized the Maidan, which voted for refusing negotiations with the authorities. How do you explain this?

Alexander Danilyuk: Puppet of the FSB. Scarecrow for the East. Discrediting nationalism.

“Navigator”: Tyagnibok has been accused before, for example, of secretly working with oligarchs, etc. But, having entered the Rada, Svoboda could start its own game.

Alexander Danilyuk: Your game? They were selected for years so that they would not have any game of their own. “Svoboda” is generally a junior partner of the Party of Regions, which is doing the same thing in Western Ukraine as the PR in other territories. It is enough to look at the scandals regarding developments in Lviv and the fight against shale gas. And the way they radically kneaded veterans in Lvov.

“Navigator”: You’re talking about a scarecrow for the East, etc. But you yourself did not remove the black and red flags from the Maidan initially, did not stop the chants about Muscovites - and gave the authorities the opportunity to talk about the Nazis on the Maidan and scare the South-East.

Alexander Danilyuk: Why did we have to remove the black and red flags? Are we talking about adequate things?

Today society is divided into people who are for Ukraine, for freedom, for democracy, and those who support the dictatorial pro-Kremlin regime of Yanukovych. Doesn't the proximity to the red and black flags bother the Jews, Armenians, and Belarusians who stand on the Maidan?

In Sevastopol, Bandera is hung out at football, not Vlasov. I would like to draw your attention: Russia lost to Ukraine. All that remains for her is a violent invasion. Youth against the Russian Federation throughout the country.

“Navigator”: And yet: what would you tell people in the Southeast - why do they need to support the Maidan? Many people see that if the revolution wins, the same functionaries from the Yushchenko era who did not respect the humanitarian rights of a significant part of Ukraine will come to power.

Alexander Danilyuk: What are you talking about? In our country, Yanukovych installed a real fascist regime, where people are kidnapped and killed in broad daylight, and you are talking about Yushchenko.
