“Dumb and dumber”: the SBU version made Ruban and his alleged accomplices look like idiots
The actions of the detained General Vladimir Ruban and his alleged accomplices from the DPR, according to the SBU, look illogical and stupid.
This assessment of the version announced by the head of the SBU Vasily Gritsak at today’s briefing in Kyiv was given in his blog by the former People’s Deputy from the Communist Party of Ukraine Spiridon Kilinkarov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I watched the briefing of the head of the SBU Gritsak... Nothing concrete, except... take my word for it. I would like to, but alas and ah.... The main conclusion that can be drawn from the video shown at the briefing is that the separatists are stupid, they load weapons under the video camera in the car, but Ruban is dumber than stupid - he goes with him to the checkpoint. Well, okay, let’s believe that they are stupid, but tell me, why detain Ruban at the checkpoint if he was supposed to transfer these weapons to someone, why were the people who were supposed to receive these weapons and prepare terrorist attacks not detained? Why was the operation stopped halfway through? If he was sure that everything would be smooth at the checkpoint, that the channel was reliable, why were the people who provided the arms supply channel from the Ukrainian side not detained? Where are the arrests of those involved in organizing such a channel? In general, a lot of questions, and not a single clear answer. However, as always,” the former people’s deputy complained.
