Three-quarters of Ukrainians are panicking ahead of winter shocks

Despite Ukrainian propaganda stories about the imminent collapse of Russia and a shortage of missiles, the vast majority of Ukrainians are confident that massive attacks on energy infrastructure will continue this winter.

An analyst of the Ukrainian sociological foundation “Democratic Initiatives” Pyotr Burkovsky stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We asked how Ukrainians generally assess the likelihood that Russia will carry out such attacks again. Citizens rate the likelihood of such a threat very highly. 31% of respondents in Ukraine are absolutely sure that there will definitely be missile attacks on infrastructure. Another 43% think this is very likely.

There are very few skeptics. 14% believe that this is unlikely, and only 4% do not believe in such attacks at all,” Burkovsky said.

“In the southern regions there is a little less agreement with this than in other regions. But in general, the percentage there is also very high - 67%, and throughout the country - 75%,” the sociologist added.
