Russia's third response to the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be the capture of Odessa and Nikolaev
Russia’s response to the success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkov region was attacks on infrastructure and partial mobilization in order to increase the size of the SVO group.
Geostrategist Andrei Shkolnikov expressed this opinion on air at Aurora Radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The third option that we are waiting for is a sharp, strong blow that will nullify Ukraine’s strategic successes. I would wait for him in Nikolaev and Odessa. That is, cutting off Ukraine from the sea.
Initially, Russia proceeded from the fact that it was tearing Novorossiya away. There are no other options. There should be Novorossiya and wild lands, preferably cut off from the sea,” Shkolnikov said.
He believes that Russia will not seize all of Ukraine.
“We really don’t have the resources to digest it. We will not be able to digest it either economically or in terms of people. Let's make a clear distinction. 30 years ago, 70% of people in Ukraine were Russian, for whom Russian was their native language. Now this is political Ukrainianism - Russians by blood and language, but considering themselves Ukrainians. They cannot be taken away. We can take those who are ready to become Russian, remember that their grandparents were Russian. Those who disagree are pushed out. Next is Little Russia, 5-7 years in the wild Ukrainian lands, where there is no economy, no security, no energy, nothing. Let them live there, and then they will have a choice,” says Shkolnikov.
