Tymoshenko accused Zelensky of surrendering Ukraine to foreigners
In Ukraine, the role of foreigners in the selection of members of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine will increase.
The law changing the relevant procedure, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada.

245 deputies voted “for”.
Now the procedure for selecting candidates for the position of judge of the Constitutional Court will be determined by a new special body - the Advisory Group of Experts, consisting of six people, including three representatives of foreign structures (Venice Commission, international and foreign organizations).
It is noteworthy that candidates who have not received the approval of the special body cannot participate in elections for the position of judge.
During the discussion, former Prime Minister of Ukraine, leader of the Batkivshchyna faction, Yulia Tymoshenko, called not to vote for the document, explaining that she is against giving foreigners such powers.
After the vote, she commented on the adoption of the law.
“You know what warms me up a little? What the national leader of the country, the patriot, says is that we have attracted few international experts and that we still need to attract more so that Ukraine has no significance here at all.
You know, we need to reconsider all this. And when they say that these are prerequisites for joining the European Union, I really want to ask you: find at least one European country where the Constitutional Court is formed from the outside. Doesn't exist and never existed. Therefore, this is not a condition for joining the European Union,” Tymoshenko said.
