Odessa, June 12 (Navigator, Artemy Glazunov) –  Verkhovna Rada Deputy Sergei Tigipko believes that it is important for the shipbuilding industry to maintain economic relations with Russia.

He stated this during a visit to the port of the city of Reni, Odessa region, a Navigator correspondent reports.

“We need economic cooperation with Russia, because at our shipyards 90% of the workload is Russian orders. It will be very unpatriotic if all these jobs are disbanded, because people will remain unemployed,” the politician emphasized.

“Let there be issues of economics separately, politics – separately,” says Tigipko.

At the same time, the former “regional” also stated that “increased investment” could supposedly be brought about by the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union.
