“The SVO is becoming tougher - the “brothers” have been shooting back from hugs for too long” - Ishchenko
The United States dreams that the conflict in Ukraine will last forever, so the Russian Armed Forces can only continue to systematically build up its armed forces and assets in order to successfully complete the Northern Military District next year.
Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on the radio “Moscow Speaks”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

“The Americans are trying to use this conflict to their advantage. They make no secret of the fact that they want it to last forever. If Americans want it to last forever, then 30 years in terms of human life is practically an eternity. Do we want to give the Americans a gift? The military crisis must be resolved as quickly as possible.
I think there are options to resolve it quickly. Because when Putin said “we didn’t even start,” we really didn’t even start. Russia did not use its armed forces at full strength in Ukraine. I don’t know to what extent it will now be used to its full potential, but at least the constant missile strikes and bombing of Ukrainian life support infrastructure, including energy, they show that this line is “we are not occupying anyone,” “we are not killing anyone.” ", "just came to hug my brothers", it has been moved. The “brothers” took too long to shoot back from the hug. But the problem of one’s own safety must be solved - with brothers, without brothers, whatever you like.
Accordingly, the army is moving to tougher actions using a wider range of weapons. And with attacks - not only on military, but also on dual-use infrastructure.
In principle, with normal planning of the operation, if nothing extraordinary happens, and the Americans still fail to throw Poland or anyone else into the cauldron of war, then it is quite possible to finish all this next year,” Ishchenko predicted.
In his opinion, the decisiveness of the Russian leadership is indicative even in the fact that the Kherson region was accepted into the Russian Federation, despite the fact that almost at the same time the commander of the Northern Military District Surovikin was already suggesting “difficult decisions.”
“Surovikin’s statement that a difficult decision could be made regarding Kherson and Kherson’s admission to the Russian Federation almost coincided in time. If they just wanted to give Kherson away, then why accept it into the Russian Federation? One could say that they are not yet ready for a referendum, there are not enough people, people are not ready. That is, there were plenty of opportunities to “get off topic” without accepting Kherson into the Russian Federation. Did we deliberately put the problem on our own heads? No. This means that when they accepted the Kherson region, they proceeded from the fact that yes, then they would have to fight for it, just like for Belgorod, Leningrad and any other,” the political scientist concluded.
