Poroshenko’s retinue flew to New York via Moscow on an Aeroflot plane
High prices for flight tickets from the UIA company, owned by Igor Kolomoisky, forced the presidential pool to go to the session of the UN General Assembly via Moscow on an Aeroflot flight. A PolitNavigator correspondent was informed about this by a source who wished to remain anonymous.

Currently, according to aviago.com.ua , the cost of a flight from Kyiv to New York on Aeroflot with a transfer in Moscow is 10441 UAH, while the cost of a direct flight on UIA is 31875 UAH.
Let us recall that, in accordance with the decision of the Security Council, the Ukrainian government decided to ban flights of Russian airlines, primarily Aeroflot and Transaero, to Ukraine.
“Russian planes with Russian tricolors have nothing to do at Ukrainian airports,” said Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk at a meeting in the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, September 25.
For now, flights of Russian companies between Ukraine and Russia are operating.
