The essence of the Chaly-Menyailo conflict is not a struggle of ideas, but a fight for a financial trough, - Communist Party of the Russian Federation
Sevastopol, October 23 (PolitNavigator, Svetlana Ivanova) - The cause of the conflict between Alexey Chaly and Sergei Menyailo is not the struggle of people, but competition for the “financial feeding trough”.
The leader of the city organization of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Vasily Parkhomenko, stated this in an interview with the party newspaper “Sevastopolskaya Pravda”.

“I had no doubt that the Kremlin would find arguments to rein in the ‘rebels’ in order to hold elections the way it saw them,” Parkhomenko said.
“Chaly showed more aggression here, not Menyailo. The latter tried to be more tactful. It seems to me that the conflict is based on economic interests, or, more simply put, access to the financial trough,” says Parkhomenko.
“Now the conflict has gone so far that we can expect it to resolve itself. You need to have intelligence and restraint to find common ground and work in one team,” the communist leader predicts the outcome of the situation.
As PolitNavigator reported, the Federal Target Program “Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol until 2020” provides 38 billion rubles for Sevastopol.
About 19 billion more will go to the city under the programs of other federal programs and programs of relevant ministries.
