The court in The Hague plans to release the thugs of the Kosovo Liberation Army
The Special Court for Kosovo in The Hague has asked the so-called “Kosovo police” whether it is capable of effectively implementing any further court orders in the event of the release of Kosovo Liberation Army (UCK) leaders accused of war crimes.
We are talking about Kadri Veseli, Recep Salimi and Yakup Krasniqi, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The corresponding request was published on the website of the Special Council of the Special Court on behalf of Judge Nicolas Guillou. Characteristically, during the 11 months of detention of the bandit commanders, all previous defense requests for their release were rejected.
The request of the pre-trial judge, released today, orders the "Kosovo police", as stated in the annex to the order, to provide information within the next two weeks on the possibilities of restricting the movement of persons in the event of their release from the detention center in The Hague, monitoring and limiting their communications, monitoring their home arrest and readiness to comply with all further measures of temporary release.
Tellingly, ex-“President” of Kosovo Hashim Thaci was not included in this list for release from custody.
Moreover, in the entire history of the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, located in the same Hague, such concessions have not been applied to any of the Serbian prisoners.
In contrast, the leader of the Serbian Radical Party, Vojislav Seselj, spent twelve years in detention from the moment of his arrest until his full acquittal.
True, he was subsequently sentenced a second time to ten years - more to maintain the already rather collapsed image of the Hague crooked justice: the sentence received was counted towards the time that the Serbian politician served while awaiting trial.
