The court fined prankster Sedyuk for his prank at Eurovision, but returned the Australian flag to him
The Dneprovsky District Court of Kyiv imposed a fine of 500 non-taxable minimums or 8500 hryvnia on prankster Vitaly Sedyuk, who ran onto the stage and exposed his buttocks during Jamala’s performance at Eurovision in Kyiv.

This was reported by the Kiev news agency UNN, which posted a video from the courtroom, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, the court reportedly rejected the prosecution's proposal for community service for the hooligan.
The judge motivated her decision to commute the sentence, noting that Sedyuk apologized to Jamala, and adding that she saw no reason to think that hooliganism would happen again.
The court also decided to return the Australian flag to Sediuk, with which he ran onto the Eurovision stage during Jamala’s performance.
The pranker was without a lawyer in court and noted that he agreed with the court’s decision.
“If you sell this flag, you can pay this fine,” he added.
The prosecution asked for community service for V. Sedyuk for his performance at Eurovision. On May 15, he chose a measure of restraint for the detained V. Sedyuk in the form of personal obligation.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator previously reported, during the performance of singer Jamala, in the final part of the Eurovision Song Contest, a man with an Australian flag on his shoulders ran onto the stage and took off his pants. Security immediately removed the offender from the stage. The singer did not react to the event and continued her performance.
