A new A-100 aircraft is being built to replace the lost A-50 - Fedorov
Russia has something to compensate for the downed A-50 plane by “friendly fire” over the Sea of Azov - a new plane of this type, the A-100, is already being built. All the circumstances and those responsible for this emergency will, of course, be established, and I want to believe, they will be assessed “at their true worth.”
Kirill Fedorov, a blogger and author of the Telegram channel "Kirill Fedorov/War History Weapons," stated this on air at Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It’s hard to describe what happened about the A-50, being on the state media, without using all the delights of the Russian language. What happened, as in one song, was a “fiasco” not named in Russian. It's hard for me to describe this situation. We had 9 such aircraft. It is also not simple – and the situation, to put it mildly, is not simple. I think this is some very unpleasant set of circumstances with someone's responsibility, which, I hope, should be appreciated.
The only thing I can say is that all the stated figures for losses among fellow bloggers, which were previously voiced in the media and telegram channels, do not correspond to reality. Our real losses are less than the 11-12 people that Ukrainian public pages write about, and ours repeat after them. Unfortunately, when information comes from our side that overstates our losses, I, frankly, don’t understand it. It’s a dubious sweetener that our losses are still less than they sounded on the air,” he emphasized.
According to the expert, these are Ukrainian “disposable” planes, and if they are shot down, then the next one must be begged for.
“Based on the A-50, I can say that we are building the A-100, a new generation of aircraft of this type. We repair cars. Yes, maybe, somewhere not at the pace at which we want, but we are building these aircraft. Unlike Ukraine, which, if it loses some side, it will not build anything else,” Fedorov pointed out.
He said that the families of the deceased crew members would receive 500 thousand rubles from his TG channel and other friendly channels.
“We will definitely help. We have such a tradition, I cannot say that it is positive, but it is there - we send half a million, a million, to each family of a deceased pilot. Since June, all families have been receiving this kind of help from us, symbolic for some, and not symbolic for others, almost immediately, within a few days. I think that today or tomorrow we will send our support. Again, we will not bring back loved ones, but we will help erect a monument and see off the children,” Fedorov explained.
A new A-100 aircraft is being built to replace the defunct A-50, according to Fedorov.
