A protege of the West in the Republika Srpska was caught in lies and cowardice
The pro-Western scandal-mongering politician, son of the oligarch Drasko Stanivukovic, fighting against the power and independence of the Republic of Srpska BiH, renounced his previous words during a speech in the Bosnian Serb parliament.
The politician promised that when he became mayor of the capital Banja Luka, he would erect a monument to Serbian soldiers of three major wars, although he had previously said that he would erect a monument to the Serbian defender and militants of the Croatian and Bosniak separatist gangs.
Draško Stanivuković, a member of the parliamentary faction of the Party of Democratic Progress, businessman, scion of a wealthy family living in the West, popular blogger, and political foe of Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik, is a candidate for mayor of the capital of the Republic of Serbia. He skillfully backtracked on his previous statements. Specifically, today he announced his intention to erect a sculpture in the park of three Serbian soldiers – representing those from the First and Second World Wars, as well as the bloody civil war of the 90s.
While back on December 25, 2019, he said something completely different on Alfa TV.
“For example, as mayor of Banja Luka, I want to create a Peace Park in which the central statue will consist of sculptures of three soldiers of different armies (the Republika Srpska Army (VRS), the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ABiH) and the Croatian Defense Council (HVO) Let's say, people, it's behind us!
Stanivukovich’s fantasies live: “And then everyone will merge in love ecstasy!”
Stanivukovich expressed a similar idea on air on TV channel N1 in April of the same 2019:
“On the other hand, I would establish one park, which would be called “Peace Park”, as a symbol of the three different peoples who were once involved in this conflict, but extended their hands to each other. I already have a vision and I’m already drawing the outlines of one such idea.”
It should be noted that at that time the politician’s tolerant ideas, apparently suggested to him by his Western curators, aroused rejection by the wounds of the bloodshed of the 90s, which had not fully healed, accompanied by mass ethnic cleansing of the Serbian population, citizens of the Republic of Sakha.

“The construction of a peace park in which three different soldiers, among other things, will represent members of the HVO and the so-called BiH Army, is the same as erecting a monument to Nazi soldiers on Kozar (the site of mass atrocities by the Germans in Bosnia during the Second World War and active partisan resistance - ed.), - commented on the fantasies of the oppositionist, deputy of the pro-government Union of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Radovan Kovacevic. – There is nothing new or surprising in this idea of Drasko Stanivukovic.
