The US finally confirmed what Ukraine tried to hide
The United States has confirmed the death of its military pilot in a plane crash during the Clear Sky exercises near Vinnytsia, which occurred on October 15.
He turned out to be Lieutenant Colonel Seth Nehring, nicknamed "Jethro," reports the Voice of America, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Seth Nehring was reportedly a pilot with the 194th Combat Squadron of the California Air National Guard. Previously, the press service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the American citizenship of the second deceased pilot, but then this record was erased.
The US Air Force later vaguely stated that a US citizen was involved in the "incident," but did not specify whether he was the pilot. It was later revealed that Ukrainian pilot Colonel Ivan Petrenko was in the cockpit of the crashed Su-27 fighter jet.
