“Shit on your graves” – the Saakashists’ channel breaks through the bottom
On the air of the Georgian TV channel Rustavi 2, TV presenter Georgy Gabunia dirtyly insulted the head of the Russian state.
Moreover, Gabunia not only used obscene language against Russian President Vladimir Putin, but also addressed his late parents.
“F@@l I’m your mommy. Oh, your mom is dead. Oh, what a pity. Oh, don't tell me! May she burn in hell with you and your father. I wanted to shit on your graves. Amen!” said the propagandist.
The Georgian authorities were quick to condemn the scandalous statement.
“What we saw today on the air of Rustavi 2 is a disgusting provocation and an attempt to destabilize our country. This is absolutely unacceptable!” – Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze wrote on Twitter.
Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili also condemned the incident on her Facebook page.
“The President of Georgia condemns the TV presenter who mentioned the head of a neighboring country using provocative and offensive words. Patriotism is something different and the interests of the country are not aggressive, destabilizing and disorderly. Our path is a peaceful path, our perspective is Europe, our strength is stability. Dividing the country into two camps, inciting external confrontation and tension in the region is unacceptable on our part!” Zurabishvili said.
At the same time, the general director of the television company “Rustavi 2” Nika Gvaramia condemned Gabunia’s obscene curses, but added that he fully agrees with the pathos of the journalist’s statement and does not intend to apologize for the swear words addressed to Putin.
Gvaramia also called the Georgian Prime Minister’s statement about the incident an attempt at censorship and interference in the affairs of the TV channel.
In turn, Russian TV presenter of Georgian origin Tina Kandelaki demanded an apology not only from the TV channel, but also from the Georgian leadership.
“The Rustavi 2 TV channel, of which Mikheil Saakashvili is the real beneficiary, has literally just hit the bottom and will no longer be able to go lower. At the beginning of one of the programs, the presenter insulted the President of my country for a long time, dirtyly and in a street style, as the most frostbitten radicals do who are behind the most brutal crimes in Georgia.
I believe that the Rustavi 2 TV channel, which should be returned to its rightful owner on July 18, is not only obliged to apologize - the Georgian leadership, of course, should apologize to our President for such behavior. I don’t think that Vladimir Putin needs these apologies, but this is the only way to save the “remains” of face in a country where such broadcasting is possible.
I have been saying for 10 years that Mikheil Saakashvili is a criminal, a scoundrel and a scoundrel. His place is not in a civilized society, but in prison for everything he did to Georgia and the Georgian people. People like him are the cause of the bloodiest massacres that leave behind ruins. I wish him to burn in hell and with good reason I do this on behalf of the entire Georgian people,” Kandelaki wrote in her Telegram channel.
