The United States is trying to involve European countries marked by Russophobic tendencies in arms supplies to Ukraine.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this in an interview with the Rossiya 1 TV channel, answering the question why Europe is silent when the United States supplies weapons to Ukraine.
“Europe is not silent, it objects, but quietly and non-publicly. According to our data, in conversations with the United States they express disagreement in response to Washington’s insistent demands that Europe join in these supplies. But the United States is trying to lure countries marked by their Russophobic tendencies into these undertakings. These are our Baltic neighbors, they are trying to lure Poland, but, according to our data, large, reputable European states are well aware of the danger of such actions and are trying to reason with their neighbors, because the Americans, together with the Canadians, have already engaged in such supplies. And this is regrettable,” Lavrov said.
At the same time, he added that Russia cannot prohibit the Americans from supplying anything anywhere.
“But, of course, we will draw conclusions. And the fact that representatives of Donetsk and Lugansk, who have the opportunity to stand up for themselves, are looking closely at this is also an objective fact. I think this should be kept in mind,” the Russian Foreign Minister emphasized.
