An ally is shooting us in the back - Lukashenko
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko made a new batch of accusations against the allied Moscow.
The corresponding statements were made at a meeting with the heads of leading Belarusian state media outlets, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Lukashenko said that Belarus cannot be compared with states such as Switzerland and Austria.
“These states exist within the powerful, huge European Union. They always rely on their allies. At least they don't get shot in the back. We are in such a position that we get it both from our allies and from our rivals or enemies, as we called them. In this regard, Belarus is being shot at from all sides,” Lukashenko said.
He announced new information attacks against Belarus.
"It's only the beginning. Even more complex things await us, which will simply be difficult to refute. At least in the short term. This untruth and lie mows down entire layers of the susceptible population, making them defenseless against its destructive effects... Belarus is permeated from all sides by media flows. Many of them are frankly destructive,” Lukashenko said.
