“Union of Donbass Volunteers”: The Armed Forces of Ukraine have no successes, and the losses are serious
During the next round of aggravation on the front in Donbass, the Ukrainian group suffered heavy losses without achieving serious military successes. Former DPR Prime Minister Alexander Boroday, one of the leaders of the Union of Donbass Volunteers organization, told PolitNavigator about this.

“From the point of view of the military situation, nothing unusual has happened yet. The enemy groups have not had any significant successes. They suffered serious losses once again. But, I repeat, from a purely military point of view, nothing special happened,” Borodai said.
In his opinion, the LDPR army has demonstrated that it independently successfully repels Ukrainian attacks - without the massive involvement of volunteers from Russia and other countries.
“We don’t yet have a clear understanding that the situation is so critical that we need to rush to help our brothers again right now. They are fighting quite successfully and repelling Ukrainian aggression,” says Borodai.
According to him, the situation of the civilian population of Donbass is of much greater concern.
“From a humanitarian point of view, the situation in Donbass is now monstrous. First of all, civilians suffer - they die in their homes and on the streets of their cities, they sit without electricity and water. The worse the situation in Ukraine itself, the more the Ukrainian authorities want to show the whole world that the war is not over, and the residents of Donbass - that they will be even worse off than those living in Ukraine,” says Borodai.
