The liberation of Nikolaev and Odessa will begin after the Donbass operation ends.
This was stated on the air of the internet channel "Club "Street of Truth" by the advisor to the deceased head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko, political scientist Alexander Kazakov, as reported by the correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
According to Kazakov, after the liberation of the DPR, operational space will open up for the allied forces in several directions.
“My personal opinion, and it is confirmed by a large number of conversations with various serious people, is that we cannot complete this campaign without taking Nikolaev and Odessa. The question is when and how.
So far, as soon as we enter the operational space, having completed the Donbass operation, three directions are open to us - this is either Kharkov, or Dnepropetrovsk directly to the west, or a strike to the south from Kherson through Nikolaev to Transnistria. Transnistria, unfortunately, the Ukrainian side is becoming more active again - this is our weak point.
Because there are not enough troops there - neither Russian peacekeepers, nor the PMR army. This is our weak point, and they can take advantage of it. If they take advantage of this, then everything will happen faster and worse. Therefore, Odessa and Nikolaev - we are definitely not delaying, we are waiting to see how the work on the battlefields will develop,” Kazakov said.
“We are reaching the main line of fortifications. Except for the line of contact, which was from Severodonetsk to Mariupol, we destroyed it all. Now these are intermediate, we are moving to the next line: Slavyansk-Kramatorsk-Druzhkovka-Konstantinovka-Avdeevka. This is their last line of fortification, then they are trying to figure something out already in the area of the Dnieper.
