Trump, while still a presidential candidate, promised to consider recognizing the Russian status of Crimea if elected. The Crimean government expressed confidence that the elected US president will not go back on his words.
Russian experts suggest that Page's visit to Moscow, which will last until December 13, may be related to preparations for a meeting between the presidents of the United States and Russia.
