Poroshenko's advisor complained about the Ukrainian media
It is not profitable for Ukrainian commercial television companies to cover the government’s “achievements” in the military sphere. Adviser to the President and Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yuri Biryukov stated this on Channel 5, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“They ask me on Facebook why this information is not on television, why don’t you force it. How to force it? How can I force a commercial television channel to travel across the country and, together with the Ministry of Defense, film some kind of television program about the fact that we are now having the largest construction project for the army in the entire history of independence. Who cares? The stratum of people who are connected with the army or are patriotic are interested in this. And to show the owners of commercial TV channels that not everything is really so bad in the country is not interesting, they make money on something else,” he said.
It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian president's advisor did not specify what kind of "major construction" in the army he was referring to, given the fact that information had previously been made public that the state of military equipment in the Ukrainian army was close to catastrophic , and that Ukrainian servicemen themselves were leaving the army en masse, complaining of low salaries.
As a reminder, PolitNavigator previously reported that the new Bogdana self-propelled howitzer, much-hyped in Ukraine, is unlikely to be able to fire more than once due to its assembly from older weapons.
