Advisor to Poroshenko: Either the elites of Donbass will accept Maidan, or they will be eliminated
Kyiv, June 20 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The truce announced by Petro Poroshenko is a chance for the elites of Donbass to accept the victory of the Maidan and agree with the new country. Otherwise, Donetsk and Luhansk leaders will be eliminated from political life, including by force.
Advisor to the President of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko said this on the air of “Shuster Live”.

“If they don’t, there will be no place for them in Ukraine. This is a historical process... Either they will support the new order and retreat into the shadows, or they will be eliminated from the political life of Ukraine by the force of history, the army, and the police,” he said.
Lutsenko cited the example of the history of the civil war in the United States.
“Do I believe that wolves can become different? I don't believe it, but there is a small chance for everything.
The war between the north and south of America led to the fact that the bourgeois north defeated the slave-owning south. What happened next? There was an option to leave the south as it was. And simply win political competition over them. No, they went the other way - reconstruction. They brought new correct economic models to the south. And this construction ended with the United States becoming a single nation and a single economic space,” Poroshenko explained.
