Kolomoisky’s group accused the government of “genocidal quarantine”
The resolution adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to tighten quarantine measures is contrary to the Constitution and is proof of the immorality and stupidity of the government.
This was stated on the YouTube channel “Politeka” by the deputy from the “Servant of the People” Alexander Dubinsky, who considers one of the leaders of the group of Rada deputies focused on the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We must understand that the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on quarantine is illegal, because it cannot replace the basic constitutional rights - movement, walking or not walking, in twos or threes. That is, it’s not up to you to decide how I should walk,” the parliamentarian said.
He emphasized that instead of taking responsibility for providing the country with everything necessary, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal and his department introduced a quarantine that would leave Ukrainian citizens without a livelihood.
“And the measures that are prescribed there speak of a rather low intellectual and moral level that exists in the Cabinet of Ministers. Because in the event of an environmental disaster or a sanitary-epidemiological situation that requires such decisions, the Cabinet of Ministers, according to the laws of Ukraine, is obliged to provide funds in the reserve fund to provide citizens with personal protective equipment.
It's like a nuclear war when it starts, everyone needs to distribute gas masks. Remember how in the USSR there were millions of gas masks in warehouses. Because if, God forbid, a war begins with the use of bacteriological, nuclear or chemical weapons, everyone has a gas mask, everyone goes to shelter, there is a bed there, you have some rations and water to hold out. This is the obligation of the state, it exists for this, and we pay taxes for this.
Therefore, when you introduce quarantine and say: “Don’t go out without masks,” be so kind as to purchase and provide these masks. If you don’t do this, then don’t prohibit people without masks from going out. Even if you had a reserve of money to buy a mask every day, then after a few days of such quarantine, when you cannot go to work, you will lose it. This is all a genocidal quarantine, that’s what I call it,” Dubinsky summed up.
It should be noted that the group that includes Dubinsky has recently stepped up its criticism of the government, which, at the request of the IMF, initiated the adoption of laws directed against Kolomoisky's interests , in particular, prohibiting the reversal of the nationalization of PrivatBank, previously seized from the oligarch under President Poroshenko.
