Anton Gerashchenko reported the following on his Facebook page : "The situation in Mukachevo has stabilized and is under control. The commander of the group of fighters trapped in Mukachevo, call sign 'Flyer,' contacted me by phone and asked me to connect him with the leadership of the SBU Anti-Terrorism Center for negotiations on ending the armed conflict and providing assistance to the wounded fighters, which I did."

“I think that within a few hours the situation will be completely resolved peacefully.
Next, it will be necessary to conduct an independent investigation, involving the media and human rights activists, into what really happened in Mukachevo and what caused the conflict that resulted in the death and injury of many people,” said Gerashchenko, who calls himself an adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
