“There are no words, only shame”: Galicians are shamed for refusing to decommunize their city
Galicians cannot be an example for residents of the South-East of Ukraine, because they do not want to give up the red color, which is associated with the communists.
What can you demand from the residents of the south-east of Ukraine, if even the Galicians do not want to “decolonize”.

The scandalous Lvov TV presenter Ostap Drozdov, who promotes rabid Russophobia, stated this on the “Fresh History” channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He was outraged by the results of a vote by residents of Chervonograd in the Lviv region, who did not want to rename their city.
“I don’t have any questions with this at all, it’s a good name, the old [Polish] name [Kristinopol]. The problem is the unwillingness to overcome the consequences of colonization and to go into it deeply. Because it's a communist name. Well, it's not the color's fault that it's red. But in this case it’s not about color, it was a communist name.
And the communist regime ruined this very color, I think, for 300 years to come. The red color will be associated with this - the hammer and sickle, Lenin-Stalin, Bolshevik banners. This is due to lack of education, it’s very sad for me to look at this,” Drozdov said.
He shamed his fellow Galicians.
“I can’t say anything other than shame, because it would seem that Galicia, the Lviv region, would already be able to read a little there. This is such a wake-up call. This is a very good reason to think about what to demand something from the Soviet people, roughly speaking, somewhere in the south or in the east, where the Bolshevik skating rink was gone and nothing was left after it. What should we demand from them, if people here still need to explain something, tell something about obvious things?
There is no end to the work. Because colonization was very successful. For 200-300 years they worked tirelessly, every day they took away everything native from people, tied up the non-native, and the non-native became native, and now you can’t figure it out,” the Russophobe was indignant.
