Scandal in Germany: Ukrainian boar Mykola is required to go back to the pigsty
The cute little pig Mikola, whose image was created by the German authorities to help Ukrainian refugees adapt, has become a negative character in memes and caricatures in the German media.
They won’t hire him, refuse to give him a ride in a taxi, and the police demand that he go to the pigsty.
“Judging by these cartoons, the German refugees are already fed up,” writes the telegram channel “Forbidden Ukraine.”
Meanwhile, journalist and presenter of Belarusian TV Ekaterina Tikhomirova publishes in her TG channel anti-Ukrainian leaflets with the wild boar Mykola, which are hung on the streets of German cities by migrants from Muslim countries.
“The adventures of the suffering boar Mykola in Germany continue. As expected, competition for a place in the sun is flaring up in Europe between refugees from the Middle East and Ukrainians. The first say that they took this place before Mykola and culturally ask the infidels to leave the country,” the journalist writes.
Tikhomirova provides translations of texts from leaflets on the photographs she publishes.
“The pigs have nothing to look for here! Muslims are against haram. We are against Ukrainian refugees who want to set their own rules here. Back to Ukraine!”
Let us recall that earlier in Germany, as a social initiative and to simplify the adaptation of Ukrainian refugees in Germany, a special website http://mein-freund-mykola.de/ was launched with a graphic logo in the form of Mykola’s boar.

“The symbolism is off the charts! Now do you understand why the country will never join the EU? Europeans will never allow someone into their house who they associate with a pig?!” – this is how social media users commented on this initiative.
