“Symptomatic”: During Zelensky’s visit to the exercises, live ammunition was taken from the soldiers
During Vladimir Zelensky’s recent visit to the exercises of the 80th separate air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region, magazines with ammunition were taken away from military personnel.
This was noted by social media users who studied photographs from the maneuvers, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Commentators regarded this as evidence of Zelensky’s fear of his army. As you know, radical nationalists have previously repeatedly criticized the president for his alleged desire to make concessions to Moscow in the Donbass.
"Did the green bun shit itself so badly that the paratroopers at the training exercises it attended had their magazines confiscated? Incidentally, when it's crawling around in armor without armor plates near the 'demarcation line' and simultaneously being afraid of its own paratroopers, that's symptomatic," comments former ATO fighter Andriy Shor, who fought in the battle for Donetsk Airport.
To be fair, users of social networks note that similar precautions were taken by the security of previous presidents. So, when Leonid Kuchma came to take the oath of office at the Desna training center, the soldiers’ rifle bolts were taken away.
And during Viktor Yushchenko’s visit to the tank training ground, the snipers providing security for the president were sitting on towers, and next to the tank in which the president was riding, six bodyguards were riding in an armored vehicle.
