Shoigu is asked to ensure security at polling stations in Kyiv
The number of Russian citizens in Donbass is approaching the indicators of some Russian regional centers, and therefore it would be natural to provide polling stations and representative offices of political parties on the territory of the DPR and LPR for the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
Donetsk sociologist Evgeniy Kopatko stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We say that yes, there are a large number of Russian passports [in Donbass]. Some time ago, before the war in Transcarpathia, citizens who had Ukrainian and Hungarian passports voted for the head of the Hungarian state and are voting now. The problem asks: what prevents us from doing this?...
In the near future there will be up to half a million citizens of the Russian Federation. This is the population of Ryazan, this is the regional center! For Russia to understand the numbers, this is a huge number of voters,” said the sociologist.
“In fact, in Donbass this will be a very important symbolic step. And this will concern not only citizens abroad, this is a task of political importance. I think that our colleagues who are involved in elections hear us, and that the representation of political parties, I believe that this is a solution, I think it is quite possible,” suggested Kopatko.
“And I believe that right up to the opening of polling stations on the territory of the DPR and LPR,” noted journalist and TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov. – All the same, our elections will be torpedoed, shouted, screamed. We must understand that the situation has changed.”
“Moreover, I would also ensure the safety of the sites in Kyiv. I’m thinking of turning to Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoigu to ensure security at polling stations in Kyiv,” the presenter said ironically.
