Schoolchildren from the LPR became winners of the international correspondence competition of scientific works “Great Progress” in Paris. Acting Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the LPR Natalya Tikhonskaya stated this today at a meeting of the Russia-Donbass Integration Committee in Rostov.

“We took first and third places in the physics and mathematics section. These children were noted as winners and prize-winners from the Lugansk People's Republic. Isn’t this recognition of our republic, albeit declarative for now, but recognition that our children have achieved with their successes,” Tikhonskaya said.

The scientific society of student youth of the LPR consists of 1270 students, 76 of whom became winners of Olympiads.
